Amber Tide

A festival on the water, with giant crabs and a prize that thinks for itself.

The idea

The festival's engineer wants its living prize.

Your group arrives at the Festival of the Tides in Amber Tide, a tropical harbor city built on the water. Choose your contests, earn Honor, and qualify for a race on giant crabs. Each crab has its own personality, so picking a mount is part of the fun.

The prize is the Heart of a Hero, a living artifact. Felbrik, the Ribbet engineer behind much of the festival's machinery, believes he's its rightful bearer. When the celebrations turn into a dispute over the heart, your group has to decide what being a hero means in practice.

Secret variants of the festival games and stubborn giant crabs keep the competition unpredictable.

Follow the trouble below the city

A short investigation leads to a grotto finale and a personal confrontation over the heart.

Felbrik, a Ribbet engineer wearing a straw hat and carrying a walking stick, rides a giant crab.

Someone you'll meet in Amber Tide

Felbrik wants
the Heart.

He built much of the machinery that keeps the city and its festival running. He thinks that makes him the right person to carry the heart.

Amber Tide and Thorns of Blossomtide share a world. You can run either adventure on its own.
